Edit Selected Node Settings

This dialog allows you to specify parallel execution for selected nodes.

Specify default settings for parallel processing for one or more nodes. To specify parallel processing is on, click the check box in the Parallel column for the nodes. You can also click All to select parallel processing for all nodes in the workflow, or None to select parallel processing for none of the nodes in the workflow.

If parallel processing is on for a node, you can turn parallel processing off by clicking the check box.

To specify degrees of parallelism for a node type, select the node and click edit degrees of freem . The Edit Node Parallel Setting dialog opens so that you can view and change degree of parallel settings.

If you specify parallel processing for at least one node, this indication appears in the workflow title bar:

Parallel Query is either On for Selected nodes, On (for All nodes), or Off. You can click the Parallel Query box to launch the Edit Selected Node Settings dialog.

If you specify parallel processing for a Node Type, the query generated by the node may not run in parallel. For more information, see Parallel Processing.
