Listen for JPDA

This dialog box is displayed when you right-click a database connection name and select Remote Debug. Use this dialog box if you are using the Sun Microsystem's Java Platform Debugger Architecture (JPDA) and you would like the debugger to listen so that a debuggee can attach to the debugger.

Port: Listening port number. You can choose any valid port number that is not in use by another process.

Timeout: The number of seconds that SQL Developer will wait for the remote database to make a debugging connection.

Local address: The IP address on which SQL Developer should listen for the database to connect.
